Oil on linen 8″x10″ +Frame. View of St Pauls on the south side of the River Thames from under the Millennium Bridge.
Small work, oil on linen, 8×12″ plus frame. Foster and Partners, and Sir Anthony Caro designed the bridge, which was first opened in 2000. It was quickly noticed that it easily bounced when people walked in step. After some adjustments it has become a much loved part of the rivers landscape.
Christopher Wren was the architect of St Paul’s Cathedral. The design was very unpopular when it was first unveiled, because he used a ‘Catholic’ dome, rather than a protestant spire.
