Sheregate Steps

Old gate out of the town's defensive wall. Half way along Sir Isaacs Walk on the south side of Colchester. The view is obscured by multiple ugly bits of street furniture. signs, a bench and phone hub. It is really terribly sad. so the artist has removed most of the offensive objects to reveal the potential of this much neglected corner of Colchester's medieval past.
