Oil on linen, 8×16 plus frame. Oil painting of the statue of Winston Churchill made by Ivor Roberts-Jones. Churchill was a friend of the painter Alfred Munnings and made much mirth at the expense of ‘Modern Art’. However this is a very good Characterisation of Churchill’s dogged mindset.
