Year of the Tank 2025

This is going to be an interesting year! My relationship with the Tank Museum is growing and I hope to be visiting at least twice with my art stand. One of the weekends clashes with the Chalke Valley History Festival, and I am yet to work out which I should choose to attend. I have also been invited to paint the new Challenger 3 which will be incredibly exciting. So many questions about it - I only hope it all happens soon.
The Chalke Valley Festival is 7 days, so perhaps one can sneak off to Bovington, I will find out. I am not sure of the last time I camped out for 7 days, that would test anyone I imagine? It might get a little maddening stuck behind a table running out of firewood! So will be fascinated to see how I manage. Anyway, I have not got the pitch yet.
I am also attending the Fair at Cressing Temple Barns for all three events taking place in April, June and November, to see what kind of response people have to my local art, in view of getting a commission. The Plan this year is to meet find patrons face to face. The budget I need for internet marketing is not sufficient. So I will exhibit in as many new locations as possible. Including Tendring One hundred county fair, the Young Farmers, and Great Bentley.
